Innovative approach to GT air extraction applied at major LNG production plant

There is a different and innovative application of the gas turbine air extraction through extensive production of Instrument air from utility gas turbine generators and has been applied successfully to a major LNG liquefaction project in Qatar.
In the case presented here, up to 80 percent of the total 35000 Nm3/hour plant/instrument air demand of a large LNG plant is supplied by gas turbines air extraction.
